Operating Process

 

The expanding machine operates in the following steps:

 

1. The rinsed pipe is sent to the rotary idler device on the center line of the expanding machine.


2. Using the rotating idler device and camera system, the tube weld is precisely rotated to the 12 o'clock position to ensure proper entry into the groove of the upper sector of the tool during diameter enlargement.


3. The lifting cone roller lifts the pipe to the center line of the reaming machine, with position control provided by the displacement sensor in the lifting hydraulic cylinder.


4. The clamping trolley moves forward and is controlled by a metal detector to detect the end of the tube and secure it. Simultaneously, a signal is sent to start the feeding roller of the clamping trolley, with position control provided by an encoder.


5. The pipe length is combined with the reaming head to automatically calculate the optimal reaming steps.


6. The clamp jaws can be rotated to avoid damaging the tube wall.


7. During the advance, the clamp height can be adjusted to compensate for pipe straightening deviation and optimize the straightening effect of the reamer.
